Japan's Nippon Steel & Sumitomo Metal Corp (NSSMC) announced to keep its contract prices for H-beam unchanged for October as the price rise for September was not accepted completely.
At present, the market prices for SS400 H beam are at ￥76,000~￥77,000/ton in Tokyo.
Meanwhile, the H-beam stocks owned by the distributors belongs to NSSMC totaled 186,500 tons at end of September, rising by 400 tons from a month ago.
